"Alone. Yes, that's the key word, the most awful word in the English tongue. Murder doesn't hold a candle to it and hell is only a poor synonym."

Dear You,
I don't know how to start this letter,
or even what to write.
And how I'll even make it through this cold and lonesome night.
I write with shaking hands,
and wary love so deep.
That when I try to write your name,
The tears would start to seep.
So please just come and lie with me,
and hold me in your arms.
And then I will feel safe again,
and will kept away from harm.
I know you're far away,
and I know that love is hard.
But I'm waiting for the day,
Love plays an easy card.

The author's comments:
I wrote this not for anybody, or for myself. But knowing that someone somewhere feels this away about someone else and doesn't have the guts to tell them.
