Story of My Life

My life is an open book,
From the hardback cover,
From it’s soft and smooth pages,
From it’s complex and difficult plot,
From it’s fun and interesting characters,
When ever I think I am nearing the end,
A new and exciting tale is unfolding,
Pages are beginning to tear away,
And some pages are newly forming,
The paper is old yet new,
Staining brown yet dazzling white,
Wrinkled yet smooth as silk,
As the story continues on,
The white, withered, wonderful pages are filling,
With the joy the future has yet to bring.
