Does walking around aimlessly through a giant cloud of ______ sound like bliss?
When the entire time, you could have basked the warmth of the sun
And watch dandelions whirl topsy-turvy in the wind?
Ignorance was never happiness.
Wouldn’t you rather see the cliff before you went off the deep end?
Looking up,
As you plummet down.
Ignorance was never happiness.

The author's comments:
Through this work, I am trying to express a lifelong standard of mine: Living ignorantly is not fulfilling. I truly believe that enlightenment is the epitome of progression. I also feel like that there are too many people in the world that choose to live ignorantly. But the way I see it, knowledge (and with application, wisdom) is the power to propel change and prosperity.
