A Reason to Cry
No girl, no girl, is as lucky as I
Sitting in my room with no reason to cry
My body surrounded by my perfect world
Clothes washed, teeth brushed, and hair curled
So many are dirty, dying, and cold.
Ages range from innocent babies to people so old
Our lives here are short; there’ll be no proof of our existence
Unless we get out and go make a difference
So how can you sit there and let perfect life tick by?
If you really cared, you’d have a reason to cry.
