Flight

I watched a butterfly escape
a silent furrow like a gasp.
I saw it creep out slowly
and carefully
I saw it unfold wet, fragile
wings
They dangled helplessly at its
sides
I watched them fill with blood
and pull upright
I saw beauty born from a
hanging casket
I saw the weak become strong.
I saw it spread its wings, and fly. `

This is the third poem I've read from you, and I envy your talent. How anyone could describe something so simply so beautifully and so uniquely is beyond me. Please don't ever stop writing! :)

I especially love this one. You're descriptions are so beautiful, but yet very life like and realisitic. You have such a unique way of writing, I really love the line "I saw the weak become strong." Awesome job!
