Memory Lane
Opening the door to my favorite room
Where everything seems to loom
Where activities are played
I wish I could stay all day.
Picking up my train
I hope the clouds will rain
Looking at my toys
I should have invited over a boy.
Trying on different clothes for my show
Running in circles with my arms stretched out like a crow
Playing my favorite board game
I put my friends to shame
It’s my favorite day of the year
It’s like I have no fears.
Time seems to fly
I hope I would never have to say bye.
The sun looks like its falling
Good thing I had a ball
Closing my door
I hope I can do this some more.
