The Empty Pool

The pool of fulfillment was at its’ highest point
The departing water is drained from the now empty well
As it does from the ducts that lie within a boy
The weeping cries of animals is heard
And she who tames is still gone
Alas, into another country or so it seems
That the girl who can stop the boy from his fallen tears
Is currently in, speaks the language of the boys calling
She returns soon enough, only to know the boy has missed her
And their love is soon restored, only to grow
Only to last forever
