Why would god
give me the biggest scar
the scar of hurt
of embarrasment
of shame

Why would god bless me
with the label of being gay

Bless me with the shame
of being called a f**,
queer,homo and fruit

I don’t deserve this
no one does

but god blessed me
out of billions
with the scar of being gay

but he blessed me with a freind named
robert who has the magic
to make the accusations
and ideas
of my secret sexuality
go away.

"I'm putting together this story of a boy named Mason Gonzalez, who seems to have fallen into a rut when he starts to feel out of place in his body he doesn't feel like mason but an intruder. These poems show how he progressed throughout the cycle of finding out his sexuality the hard way. "
