A wall
Stronger than brick and mortar
Between us
A pair of lost allies

Shuting out my screams
My tears
My pleas
As though I mean nothing

Attempting to climb that wall
Ends with scars
And anger
And torn dreams
But I am the only one who tried

Quick to turn away
Your back to the wall
Your back to me
Your face towards someone else's
While I sink
While I drown
In your disapproval
