My promise
Today I heard a song and for some reason it made me think, “having other people in your life and one person that cares, makes the world of a difference… I mean would people do the things they do, try as hard as they do… not try as hard as they do; if no one else was there to see otherwise? Would we gussy up before heading out the door, or desire the things we want if no one was there to see what we looked like or what we had? Where would we turn? Sometimes and seemingly too often we are so self-centered that we forget the little things. We make it so we learn the hard way; only appreciating what we had once it’s gone. We are quick to judge and more often than not don’t look back. I know we are supposed to live for ourselves, but like I was saying before, what would we be living for, without anyone else? Today I am going to make a promise to myself that I will not only live for myself, but for everyone else as well.
