On a summer star?
Would you be my air,
When it's hard to breathe?
Would you be all the promises,
I can't promise I'll keep?
Would you be my innocence,
When reality sets in?
Would you be my laughter,
On the days when I cry?
Would you be my knight in shining armor,
When I say I don't believe in fairy tales?
Would you be the song,
That is stuck in my head?
Would you be the words,
I can't say?
Would you read between the lines?
