Dear self

I know this might seem weird to say
But today I felt a different way
Usually with no time to spare
I make my way out with messed up hair
But today everything seemed to go right
And looking in the mirror wasn't a fight
My self esteem wasn't as low
And my face seemed to have a glow
Getting out of bed is hard enough
But feeling like crap is way too tough
I made myself a little list
And promised myself to thInk of this
Even when times get from good to bad
There's always something to make me glad
I know no matter what they say
I have to be happy anyway
This is my life, I'm in control
I'm burning down bars, weakening their hold
I will get to that place I want to be
With someone special beside of me
Never forget life has it's ways
You just have to get past those days
