Our eyes meet,
we are thinking the same thing.
The difference is,
I can control myself.
You spit your thoughts
as if they were burning your tongue.
Your eyes scream hatred
with the highest pitched scream,
as if a fire were burning inside you.
My eyes don’t scream words of hate.
Mine speak softly,
they say, “I’m sorry for you”.
