The sun and heat
are unbearable inside this
furry suit.
I regret taking this job.
Sweating and dealing
with annoying kids
all the time is not my idea
of a good day.
Signing autographs and
taking pictures is agitating.
I just want to go home
and sleep.
Getting tugged and giving hugs
makes me want to give away the secret,
one that will scar these pestering children
for life.
To them, this is supposed to be
The happiest place on Earth.
To me, it’s
A torture chamber.
