Portrait of a Winter Walk

A brittle and
colorless leaf
shines brightly
in a stream
of dog's urine.
December sunlight
sparkles, twinkling
across the leaf
as fluffy clouds
carelessly drop
in weightless heaps
over the bowl-edge
of our mountains.
