17 candles.
On my birthday,
 I'll wish for you.

 I know it won't happen,
Because it would be too right.

I want to say 'I miss you',
 But I see no point.

 I feel the emptiness inside,
The pain of you not being here.

 You'll never see me cry,
Or miss the sound of my voice.

 You pushed and shoved,
 Until I finally broke.

 Never caring,
 Always swearing.

 It can't be erased,
 Forgiven nor forgotten.

 Screaming, court and lawyers
 Couldn't change anything.

 And still...

 On my birthday,
 I'll wish for you.
