First Day of Highschool

BEEP! I slap the alarm clock that reads 6:00 a.m.
I run to the bathroom,
Brush,
Comb,
Wash,
And I’m not ready.
Slip my clothes on
And rush downstairs towards the smell of pancakes.
On the table is a plate and a stack of pancakes on it,
One,
Two,
Three
Pancakes devoured in just five minutes.
Check my backpack...twice.
And I’m still not ready for my first day of high school.
