Waiting to Hear My Call
As I walk to the gym,
To addition for basketball.
I feel my clammy hands ,
Drip on the sleek hardwood floors.
As I change into my gym clothes,
I walk to the coach,
And sign my name on the audition sheet.
I get with the others ,
and start a game.
Practicing for more than an hour.
At last the judgment came,
Gathering to hear the final word.
We discuss what we did good and bad,
While listening to await judgment from harsh ears.
