Rest your head on my chest.
Feel that?
That's the sound of my heart,
The sound of it beating for you.
It's the sound of my love for you.
That's the heart of your friend;
That's the heart of your lover.
And as long as that heart is beating,
You will know
That not everything is against you;
That there is someone who cares about you,
And someone you can trust,
And I'll always be right behind you.

I guess it could be one, but its more of a rant, but free verse is close enough. Thanks though, I haven't gotten much good feedback lately, it's nice to hear!
