Walking down the street
what do you see?
A quiet girl.
One to keep to herself.
Not much to say,
just there to listen.
A girl who falls
into her stories.
Her art right at hand
and her life to herself.
But take a closer look,
what do you see?
The true me.
The me who isn’t afraid to be myself.
Who isn’t afraid to believe.
Who finds a smile in any situation.
The me who likes to talk
and tell you what’s on my mind.
The true me few people see.
