Home is on Diversity Street
Diversity means
walking down the street and looking different than others,
laughing and sounding different than the other person,
being weird but accepted.
Diversity means
being loved for who you are
having the same rights as everyone else
and sharing water fountains.
Diversity means
being similar yet different,
being in a world full of variety
and finding your way around.
Diversity helps me find my home,
the place where I belong,
the place where I am meant to be.
This is what diversity means to me.
