I won't be there
My heart beats black.
I slash my wrists,
Complain of depression,
Of seeing others in pain,
Wanting to make them better
Is it really my place?
I have my own problems,
more than enough .
Why must I take your burden as well?
I understand,
I love you,
But I can't make you any less insecure.
I can't take your pain,
I can't help you,
But I want to.
So I will turn my back,
By walking away,
You must learn that you can't be dependent on me.
Because one day, I won't be there.
