In the gutter
down the drain
that is where I want my pain.
They told me not to
I think I ought to
it’s just when and where
I really don’t, like to cry
I think that I should try,
maybe this will just fly by,
I don’t know if this will end
my nerves its, pain they send
it’s my wounds that I must tend
I’m sorry guys
I’m not being fair
but you think I just don’t care
Oh I can’t take it
I can’t fake it
I don’t think that I can make it
Down the gutter
in the drain
that is where I have my pain
