"All that we see or seem, is but a dream within a dream."
"Just because her eyes don't tear doesn't mean her heart doesn't cry. And just because she comes off strong, doesn't mean there's nothing wrong."

Lord, can you hear me?
Can you hear my call?
The walls are shaking,
and I can't get back up.

Lord, are you there?
Can you hear my call?
The spirit inside me is breaking,
and I can't put it back together.

Lord, why won't you answer?
Can you hear my call?
Your golden throne is waking in the sun,
but the wax is preventing you from hearing it all.

Hear me,
my lord,
for you may be my last hope.

It's all entering at once,
with the slash of a tiger,
And the fierceness of a fox,
Hear my prayers!

Lord, are you really there?
Are you the wind beneath my wings,
the dragon's breath in my soul,
and the silver lining in the sky?

If so,
where are you?
Are you really the current of the waves,
the buzzing of the bees,
the channels in my heart?

If so,
where are you?
Need you,
Where are you?

I'm sure many, many people have asked this same question. I just asked it poetically.
