9/11:
September 11, 2001,
The day the war began.
The day we realized the true meaning of terror.
The World Trade Center,
The symbol of our country’s wealth,
Hit by planes on a mission of death and destruction.
The devastation known all over the country,
Too great to comprehend.
The worry and fear felt that day,
To great to bear.
The memories of lives lost
Will be forever cherished.
The strength of the survivors
Will be forever known.
