Favorite Quote:
"If the glove doesn't fit you must acquit".

I just left a place
A place obscured in shadows
An innocent, naïve, place
Where nothing really matters

Memories obscured in shadows
Thick cobwebs hide vacant doors
I get a little taste of the past
And I wish I could remember more

Feelings obscured in shadows
Dulled by time’s brutal sword
Feelings I wish I could remember
Feelings felt in my very core

People obscured in shadows
Vague faces of women and men
Intangible little details
A smile, a mischievous grin

Voices obscured in shadows
Silent whispers disturbing my mind
I hear laughter resound inside of my head
And sit waiting for another sign

I try sifting through all of these memories
Unsure if they’re truly all mine
Memories corrupted by time
Time you desperately want to defy
