Why is it
So hard
To be
Young.
Why can't I
Just run
And skip
And jump
And hide
And play?
Why must I
Be forced
To grow up
And play
By the rules
And work
And cry
And hate
What I've
Become?
My youth
Has been
stripped.
I am
Replaced,
By someone
I don't know.
An adult.
