Broken
Once I thought you were true,
But I should have known,
Nothing this good could ever be real.
You were so gentle,
So nice.
But now you show
The true you beneath the act.
Your feelings were never true,
You used me for who knows what.
You're just a typical jerk.
You care about none but yourself.
You left me broken,
Broken in a million pieces.
Broken with no one to pick up the pieces.
I see you never loved me,
Maybe even hated me.
I wish I could say I was over it,
But I'm not.
You messed with my heart,
And took a piece with you.
You left me broken,
With no one to pick up the pieces.
