Sand Dollars
Dark Blue foamy waves of the Pacific Ocean
Rolling into the beach like
a bowling ball smashing pins
Then, releasing back into the ocean
They leave a trail of treasures
To the delight of curious human hands
Who reach to reveal.
Chipped, but not broken
Engraved with ancient hands
Wrought in the soul
Of to whom grabs them from the sand
Sand Dollars
