Falling
You crash and burn,
during your fall,
from the Heavens above,
to the Earth below.
You scream in pain,
but we don't hear you,
we are deaf to your pain,
oblivious to your fall.
Your broken,
battered and bruised,
your wings are clipped,
torn from sorrow.
Your pain is great,
a monstrous agony,
but we cannot feel it,
it is yours,
yours alone.
