Trying, trying, trying
To stay caught up in assignments,
To be on time for class
To get the highest grades possible
Trying, trying, trying
To make mommy and daddy proud of me
To put smiles upon their face
To have them know I am trying hard
Trying, trying, trying
To make him always happy
To be a great girlfriend
To show him I will always care
Trying, trying, trying
But sometimes I feel it’s not good enough
Sometimes I’m afraid I will fail,
Sometimes I just worry too much
