"Tell me what you need, and i will tell you how to live without it"

I hate you
Don't think for a second that
I love you
I hope you know that
I was lying
I never wanted to know you
When I said that
I'll take you back
I meant to say no
You asked if I had regrets
I told you the truth
Those things are how I really feel
All of the nice things I said
I take it back
It's wrong that I lied
I killed you
Shot you down
I was the one who
Made them think it was your fault
You made up for it
You said nothing was wrong
I wish all of this never happened.

The author's comments:
This poem can be read both forward and backward. Reading it normally, it tells the point of view of a spiteful ex-lover. But when it is read backward, it tells the point of view of someone who hurt someone close to them and is pleading for a second chance.
