losing
We were frozen
Our hands up on our heads
Our jaws dropped and eyes wide
 We were statues
Out breathe held in the air
 Out voices silent as stone
 We were in shock
The buzzer rang on and stayed there
They moved slowly with their head hung
 They had lost
Pulling their jerseys from their waste bands
Shaking their heads and continuously glancing up at the score
 They were disappointed
What could they have done differently?
 Blaming it on themselves
 They were angry
We cheered out last with what we could
We clapped for them and tried our best
 We were proud
Now it was done, there was no changing
But we’d made it this far at least
 We’d be back
