Hurt. It hurts everyone
Tears will fall
Last words to be shared
Families broken
Tradition shatters
Again and Again
It spreads through us all
Dreams crushed
Guilt encroaches
On vulnerable moments
Regret is ordinary
This disease is terrible
No cure
No vaccine
No one is spared
Yet... I don’t want to be safe from it
It moves everyone
Smiles to be worn
First impressions to be made
Families brought closer
Traditions created
Again and Again
It spreads through us all
Dreams fulfilled
Hope encroaches
On vulnerable moments
Pride everyday
This miracle is wonderful
No inhibitors
No fear
No one is left out
It’s love.
