“She says nothing at all, but simply stares upward into the dark sky and watches, with sad eyes, the slow dance of the infinite stars.” - Neil Gaiman

Cold hands carve my face
stroking my hair
and kissing my cheeks
I open my eyes slowly
Darkness is all I see
Who are you?
I cringe away
from your icy touch
You tell me not to worry,
to put my trust in you
Trust what I cannot see?
As mad as it was,
I agreed
What a mistake that was
Must I guard my heart always?
But it was a foolish thing, I know
To love what I thought I knew

This is a poem about someone "falling in love" with a person they didn't really know..
