Hope and Prey

Thinking, crying, shouting.
I can’t seem to get it off my mind.
All I can do is sit and prey,
Prey that one day
My soul will be at bay.
I try my hardest to try and try.
Really, all I want to do is lie down and die.
It seems like help will never come for me.
I miss standing out by the sea.
When will this torture end?
One day soon? Will it never end?
All I can do now, is hope and prey.
