Some say fear is only in the mind,
I’d have to agree.
Our fears are so small,
Yet we find them so difficult to overcome.
If we just believe in ourselves,
We can overcome anything.
Some say fear is a bad thing,
I say we all have something to learn about ourselves,
And only our fears can teach us.
It’s a monster in our closet,
Which we must overcome.
Fear is not our enemy,
It should be our friend.
Cause in the end its all we have.
In the end its not really fear at all,
In the end its us not wanting to let go,
Its us clinging to our safety.
But I’ll let go,
And when I let go I’ll be free.
