To My Father
It wasn't my fault I came into this world.
It wasn't my fault you divorced.
You left me all alone,
because it wasn't me who made you want to stay.
It wasn't my fault you found someone new.
It wasn't my fault she drove you away.
You've created your ideal family,
while I'm left in the outside.
I try to act like I don't care.
I try to forget you abandoned me.
You won't be there call me "Daddy's little girl."
You won't be there to call me at all.
Maybe one day you'll come around.
Maybe one day you'll care.
Will you come to my graduation?
Will you ever be there for me at all?
I try to forgive.
I try to forget.
But the thought still lingers,
and so does the pain.
