A girl who was happy and carefree fell
She lost herself in her own mind
She closes her eyes and cries
She asks god for one thing
Since I am so blue why can’t I fly?
She clings to the last memory
And wishes to be set free from this curse
She finds herself flying in the air
Sores in the sky higher than any bird
The buildings are below her and she feels free
A feeling with the wind in her face
And wonders how she got up here
She begins to fall from the sky
And hurled down hard into the Earth below
Everything goes dark and she is lost
She opens her eyes and sees the tissues that she used
It was all a dream and she is back down to Earth
Alone once again and asking herself
I am as blue as the sky
Can’t I fly like a bird in the sky?
And her memory of loosing a friend comes back.
