When the Frost Melted
When the frost melted,
You looked up with unseeing eyes.
Your heart had been stilled,
And you wore it on your glass sleeve.
When the frost melted,
The roses were blackened. They
Dropped to the ground when you
Slashed.
Glass wall, glass eyes,
Shattering
falling
breaking
I wander outside for a while.
The sun is setting for now.
I still can feel your heart in mine,
And I will not let you die.
