Black Man
Because he is black
He is supposed to sit in the back?
He tilts his head down trying to read
While the people around him begin to scheme
Martin’s dreams must not have been attainable
Or was Rosa’s boycott all make believe
We are all equal just let him be
The man in the back is plotting a great plan
A man up front turns his head in shame
Oh how he feels sorry for this poor man
SAY SOMETHING don’t be insane!
Disgusted by this man is the woman on the pole
A gentleman to the far right heard this plan and
Put his head down for he fears for this man
It was a normal subway ride
But a few knew something was different
The ride was now over and the man was
Left blistered
