"Life is what you make of it. It cannot give you lemons. If you get lemons, you gave yourself lemons. You're obviously being a sourpuss. So get some sugar and drink up, babe." - Unknown

The music is enticing,
but I refuse to dance,
for it is nothing but chatter,
and a sort of cheap romance.

I would rather play the cello,
and instill great emotion,
then be a machine out in the crowd,
showing so little devotion.

I would rather be responsible,
for all of the decorations,
then be out there on the floor,
admiring the creations.

I would rather sit in the corner,
and read a rather good book,
then be surrounded by people,
in fact, I'd rather be a crook.

But there's a strange thing that I've noticed,
and that thing is this:
Surely dancing alone with you,
Waltzing across the floor with you,
Twirling until I couldn't anymore with you,
is something I wouldn't dare miss.

Come dance with me. :)
