Reflections
When you’re near death you speak with a sincere heart
You reflect on the mistakes you’ve made, and the changes you should’ve applied to your life
You shed a tear when you think about all the trials and tribulations you’ve faced
Then, your mind becomes clouded and overwhelmed
You’re on the verge of breaking down but you force yourself to remain strong
To keep the faith and to keep pushing
You pray for a miracle or good fortune
You feel that happiness is owed to you
But meanwhile misery seems to tail behind you
You imagine the person who could’ve been
The person you were destined to be
But never got a chance to be
When you’re near death… you speak with a sincere heart
