She taps her nails on the table,
She’s waiting.
He looks around, avoiding her eyes.
He’s guilty.
She pulls her hand away,
She’s angry.
He cranes his neck to look at his ex,
He’s lovesick.
She makes the call she never wanted to make.
She’s crying.
He stares at his phone dumbstruck.
He just lost the love of his life…
