Violet eyelids cover
until the pomegranate eyes open on the
Lavender skies
Lilacs and mulberry pies.
The purple world misses you.
Not a day goes by
That I don’t become a better man because of you.
Your magenta smile seeps into my mind
Strength becomes easy to find
In my plum-shaped heart
Like the one you had but smaller
But growing.
And as I get every inch taller
Not a wine-sunset will fall
That I don’t think of it all
And miss you
With the rest of this purple world.
