Sadness is hollow, an empty room
Sadness is forever, a cloud of doom

Love is terror, your world out of control
Love is despair, a heart you stole 

Hate is desperate, it longs for power
Hate is patient, to grow by the hour 

Fear is  exhilaration, a show of skill
Fear is doubt, a test of will

Sadness is contagious, an infection of mind
Sadness is wanton, a  malevolent kind
