I thought I could a fly thousand feet
Travel a thousand miles
Only when I tried to leave
Did I fail my first trial

The tests that come at you never end
No matter how well you pass them
just like the friends in life will come and go
Like precious and rare gems

They say they're real
they say they're true
yet once you fail
they turn their back on you

Life is too short to be wasted on fake friends
Life's not long enough to misplace your trust

So when you're about to take that leap
Just think once so you won't fall
think of how much love you share with your friends
Then stand strong and tall

I hope when people read this that they realize that you need to look before you jump and fall. Think about your friends before you trust them blindly. I thought about all my loved friends when I wrote this :)
