"Only you can be the change you want to see in the world." - Ghandi

A thought entered a young boy's head
What shall he do today

He remembered what his mother said;
"If there's a will there's a way"

He had dreams of flying
Reaching out to touch the sky
Knew he'd never get there without trying

But why today?
Why try?
Why touch the sky?
It'd all be there tomorrow.

After all
Life is long
And he was just five years of age

And so he put himself in bed
Until another day

He plotted his dreams for days ahead
But they'd wait another day

He had dreams of flying
Reaching out to touch the sky
Knew he'd never get there without trying

After all
Life is long
But to his dire and dark surprise
Eighty years had slipped away

He spent everyday
With time ticking away
Putting his dreams off till tomorrow

He said he'd fly tomorrow
But soon he'd cry with sorrow
Because the once young boy, now old man
Found that time cannot be borrowed

His dreams made him scream
The sky waved goodbye
His age became his cage

And on that night
Rather than lying down to bed
The once young boy, now old man
Found that he was dead

Dead before he ever got his chance to say
He followed his dreams and flew away

Dead before he ever tried
To reach out and touch the sky

Dead before he reached 'tomorrow'
And soon his life would amount to sorrow.
