Turn off the lights
I guess I used all my knowledge
To write poems for a girl, that will
Never know about my love.
But I understand, that is how it is,
I thought that different was going to be,
I thought, that she was going to read, but no.
Now; now that is part of the past,
Is part of a future that is never going to come,
That I will never be able to live,
A future that only by far I am going to see.
Don’t ask me who I like,
Ask me who I love,
And if you want to know how much,
Turn off the lights,
And count the stars upon the sky.
