Edge Of My Chair
Edge Of My Chair
I want a poem that makes you go to the edge of your seat
Something that will make you screams with the beat
Like in a horror movie
When you almost jump off the edge of your chair
But only my chair
I don’t want to let go of the ledge
No, not until my poem is read
I want the poem to surprise me
So I fly forward
Cause I don’t like to be bored
When I fly to the edge of my chair
I want to be faster than a bolt of lightning
Don’t want anyone to see me
Remember I only want one kind of poem
Not one of love, gloves, doves, or even clubs
I want one that will make me go to the edge of my chair
Maybe onto a giant stuffed bear
What kind of poem do you want?
I really don’t care just don’t copy me
Or I’m going to have to ask you to leave
So go get me my poem
What if I say please?
But not any poem
One that will make me jump
To the edge of my chair
I don’t really care of it the front or bottom of the chair
Or even the sides
I just want to be on the edge of my seat
Wait
Why the edge of the chair
You ask?
Well nothings cooler
Than the great old
Chair
